Hi, I'm Nikkie. This policy explains, in plain words, what I collect when you join my email list or waitlist, visit my pages or buy from me, what I do with it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email me and I'll explain.
My pages, waitlists, email list and products are run by Nikkie Burns, Freedom Creator Coach, based in Victoria, Australia.

When this policy says "I", "me" or "my", it means Nikkie Burns, Freedom Creator Coach.
All of my pages and emails, including my waitlist and funnel pages, my free guides (such as The 5 Questions) and anything you buy from me. It doesn't cover other websites, even when I link to them. Those sites have their own policies.
When you join my email list or a waitlist:
1. Your first name.
2. Your email address.
3. A record of your sign-up: the date, the page you used, and the consent wording you agreed to.
When you email me or reply to my emails: whatever you choose to send me.
When you buy something: payments currently go through Beacons, using Stripe and PayPal. I never see or store your full card details. Beacons shares your name, email and order details with me, so I can deliver what you bought.
When you visit my pages: I don't use advertising pixels or analytics. HighLevel, which hosts my pages, may set essential cookies so the pages work. See section 11.
I only ask for what I need. You don't have to give me anything, but without your email I can't send you the guide or tell you when doors open.
I use your details to:
1. Send you the free guides you ask for, such as The 5 Questions.
2. Send you the emails you signed up for, including news about my courses and products, such as when doors open for Paid From Bed.
3. Deliver anything you buy and help you with it.
4. Answer your messages.
5. Keep records of your consent, as the law requires.
I don't use your details for anything you wouldn't expect from the list you joined. I never sell your personal information, and I never give it to anyone else for their own marketing.
I only email you because you signed up and said yes.
Every email I send:
1. Comes from Nikkie Burns and clearly shows who it's from.
2. Has a subject line that honestly tells you what's inside.
3. Includes my postal address, Nikkie Burns, Parcel Locker 70, Wodonga Post Office Parcel Locker, Wodonga VIC 3690, Australia.
4. Has a working unsubscribe link.
You can unsubscribe at any time, with one click or by emailing me. I'll stop emailing you as soon as possible, and within 5 business days at the most.
This follows the Australian Spam Act 2003 and the US CAN-SPAM Act.
I use trusted service providers to run my business. They handle your details only to provide their service to me:
I may also share your details if the law requires me to.
Some of my providers store or process information overseas. HighLevel, Mailgun, Stripe and PayPal may store your details outside Australia, including in the United States. I choose providers that protect information carefully, and I take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your details in line with Australian privacy law.
If you live in the UK or the European Union, your details are transferred outside your country. Where the law requires it, these transfers are covered by safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
I take reasonable steps to protect your details from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. That includes choosing reputable providers, using strong passwords, and turning on two-step sign-in where it's available. No one else has access to my accounts.
No system is perfect. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, I'll tell you and the right authority, as the law requires.
I keep your details for 2 years after your last interaction with me (for example, opening an email, signing up or buying), unless the law needs me to keep them longer. After that, I delete them. You can ask me to delete them sooner at any time. If you unsubscribe, I keep a short record of that so I never email you again by mistake.
Wherever you live, you can:
1. Ask what details I hold about you.
2. Ask me to correct anything that's wrong.
3. Unsubscribe from my emails at any time.
Email [email protected] and I'll reply within 30 days. I may need to check it's really you before I share or change anything.
If you live in the UK or the European Union:
1. My lawful basis for emailing you is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, and that doesn't affect anything I did before you withdrew.
2. You can ask to see your details (access), have them deleted (erasure), object to how I use them, and get a copy in a format you can take elsewhere (portability).
3. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK, or to the data protection authority where you live. I'd love the chance to fix things first, so please email me too.
If you live in the US: you can opt out of my emails at any time, and I'll honour it promptly.
I don't use advertising pixels or analytics on my pages right now. HighLevel, which hosts my pages, may set essential cookies so the pages and forms work properly. These don't track you for advertising.
If I ever add tracking, I'll update this policy first.
My pages, guide, emails and courses are for adults. They aren't for anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly collect details from anyone under 18. If you think a child has signed up, email me and I'll delete their details.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, please email me first at [email protected]. I'll look into it and reply within 30 days.
If you're in Australia and you're not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). UK and EU residents can contact the ICO or their local data protection authority, as above.
I may update this policy when my business or the law changes. The newest version will always be on this page with its effective date at the top. If a change matters to how I use your details, I'll tell you by email.
